I was born and raised in the Black Forest of Germany and have two children and two grandchildren. I live now with my husband Spencer and our dog Maisy in Moray / North Scotland.
Having qualified as a Nursery School Teacher with a great love for music and art, I worked in my own Music and Dance School in Germany and London for many years.
I am also an accredited Facilitator for “Jeaux Dramatiques”, a form of Improvisational Theatre.
My love to music is not only expressed through the singing and music in the puppet theatre, I also teach the flute to children and adults in a relaxed atmosphere at my home.
From this rich background of training and experience my “Treebadour Theatre” emerged.
I write all stories and most of the songs and create all of the characters and props myself. My husband Spencer supports me by selling our tickets before the show starts.
Living in Moray, Scotland, surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of mountains, sea, rivers and trees with all of its living creatures, inspires my creation of the puppets, stories and songs for the theatre deeply. They tell about the loving connection between humans and nature, and how to care for our beautiful world. It is very important to me to give all of my attention and love down to the smallest detail. To make my shows a shared family experience filled with laughter and joy, as well as having created an afternoon where children learn, experience creativity and get inspired to create their own fantasy world is my deepest wish for my work and my greatest joy when I see it fulfilled.
